Again, good observation. Why wouldn't it be on the rails on the backside?

celebration day
Well guy's the TWP car has made it up north here and was dropped of just outside Portage. The Milw. Rd. was so excited about the whole event they sent out their 4-6-2 Prairie "Chippewa" to pick it up and bring it on into the yard.
After all the speaches and celebrating the car was picked up by an Alco S1 switcher to be added to a freight headed south.
inbetween the events the shop boy's got a hold of it and emblazend it with a tilted red rectangle for posterity
The train should be leaving the yard shortly where it will head down through Milwaukee and into the Benseville yards just outside Chicago. There it will be picked up by a special dispatched PRR train to take it northeast to New Jersey..
Keep an eye out for it ,it just might pass by your house!!!!!!

TWP ARRIVES ON THE PHCRR Part One (pic heavy)
When we last saw the car, Andy said it was getting hooked up with a PRR train and headed East. I mentioned a set of power had been dispatched, and on Friday, got the word they were headed back! As we watch down the tracks, we see the EMD power coming around the bend in the distance:
The SD-9's pull into Michell Yard, and we start to inspect the train:
WE see the train is a Unit Run, and a couple of those L&N grab your eyeballs Blue Hoppers are in the consist:
Then we come to something rather unusual, as it's the first fictional foreign road car ever seen on the PHCRR! But Management has a plan....
The TWP car is immediately pulled off the train, and the Car Shop guys are waiting for the 44-Tonner to bring 'er in:
In the meantime, seems a Big Welcome is brewing, as it looks like Virgil's Air Service, Banner Towing Division has gotten into the act!
The local Classic Car Club has made an appearance:
And we have a Law Enforcement presence to keep the excitement to a manageable level:
Well, most of players are in place, in our next installment, we will get to see what happened to the TWP car, and see what kind of welcome the Penn-Haven Central cooked up! So far, we can see the excitement building!

TWP Arrives on the PHCRR part two pic heavy
It's a day off from School at the PHCRR, and even the Company President (who also is the Car Club President) brought out his 61 T-Bird:
The newly built Valeria Station looks like a good place to show the town the visitor, and we see three different passenger trains sitting nearby:
And here comes the Special now!! In the lead is "The Inteloper" the resident SD-45 EMD Demo, followed by a Pennsy Unit:
Then there's a New Haven unit, and a Central RR of New Jersey engine as well! All three tenants of the PHCRR are represented, and we just start to see THE CAR:
Here comes the Hopper now, it looks like the Car Shop guys did some work to her!
And Cabooses representing the three roads are bringing up the markers:
The train pulls in and the people start looking at the show, looks they're having a grand time!!:
Okay- here's the back end...
Here's a picture of the Covered Hopper as it left the Car Shops:
And here's a picture of what I did to the car. When I got it, I popped the top and installed weight, gorilla glued and wire tied in place. I went to the outside, and put the striping on, going with the website colors off the logo. As you can see, I used 3M High Performance auto pinstripe tape. Adding the weight improved the performance of the car, and word has it someone who lives nearby and goes by a locomotive moniker is going to toss on some metal wheels on this car as well.
Okay, what's the consensus? Like, or no like??

Awesome! I used to work in an auto detail shop and as a result, I've got a whole shoebox full of all different colors of pinstriping tape. I am going to see if I can't use your idea on something. I'll have to use the petite stuff for N scale though.
