Mike be careful with those halogen lights they produce a lot of heat not to mention suck up a lot of wattage = $$$$$$$$$$ have you considered using thin fluorescent tubes or indirect lighting?

okay, sounds like a possibility, but WHAT kind of indirect lighting or thin tube fluorescents are we talking about here?? If anyone has any ideas, I'M ALL EARS!!

Na your ears aren't that big.........lol
Ok check out Lowes you know the place where I should have my own reserved parking place. They must be getting rid of their line of track lighting. I was in there a few days a go the most of it had the yellow sticker on it. You can aim those things just about any which way you please and they have several way to power them, plugs for into a wall receptacle or direct hard wire.

If you check out the under counter kitchen lighting there are a lot of single tube fluorescent fixtures with thin tubes I'll give you a live report from there tomorrow.
