I was curious when you originally did the thread for the pole load, and now with the second car; What did you use to tie the loads down with?? Thanks!

LOL that is a secret but i will let you and only you in on it. So dont tell any of the other guys.
First car is straned wire i cut the coating off and twisted it up real tight and glued it to the side of the car.
Next one i use Zip ties on it. they are glued to the side of the car as well.

I like the stranded wire the best I've used brass flat bar before to duplicate tie down straps

Lesson for the day, we identify a certain quality in TM

INNOVATIVE in-uh-vay-tiv adjective
being or producing something like nothing done or experienced or created before; "stylistically innovative works"; "innovative members of the artistic community"; "a mind so innovational, so original"

sample sentence:

Where else can you go and get ideas from such "innovative" guys like Train Master on such a site as TWP??

Where else can you go and get something like an English lesson on a train website??

Ok here are a few pics of those ERTL cars I jsut picked up yeah I kow this is a flat car thread but I threw in a gondola and a box car too jsut to give you an idea of what they look like. The detailign isn't bad and I like the era and size of of the cars but I can definelt say stay away form thier build up layout ready buildings The look like and most likely are the same as the things you buy at Lowes put under your Christmas tree. Heavy sat resin junk
