Post Building Craftsman Structure Kits DVD Volume II By Scott Mason

Just got an email from Scott Mason (I have his first volume of this and it is great!)

Hi folks,

Well, after some unavoidable delays, I’m pleased to announce the release of my second DVD, “Building Craftsman Structure Kits, Volume 2.”

This DVD starts out with a tour of the newly restored HO scale Pennsylvania Railroad Middle Division. As many of you probably know, this was a project layout built by Dave Frary in the early 1990’s. Model Railroader Magazine devoted nine issues to it from January to September of 1993.

The layout traveled the country with the Greenberg Shows for several years before falling into a state of disrepair. Jimmy Deignan bought it, and I restored it along with a group of very talented model railroaders. Dave Frary and I built scenery for a new center peninsula.

On this DVD, I build Finescale Miniatures’ Dexter’s Dead End.

I’ve also included many new craftsman structure building techniques that I think you’ll find interesting, useful, and above all, easy to learn. These techniques include:

Painting and weathering wood walls
Stucco walls
Tarpaper walls
Several new roofing techniques
Signs
Brick walls
Window shades
Pigeon poop
And more

The approximate running time is 60 minutes. To order, just click on this link:

As always, thanks for your support!

Scott Mason
