Last week of August 2008 Put your pic up!!
Wow!! Where'd the Summer go?? At least we've been having some GREAT weather here in the Northeast! I still got in a few shots of the latest buy at the local Train Show. Here's an RS-1 in CNJ colors doing a runaround on it's train. The weathering is mine.
C'mon, don't be shy, and let's see some train pics this week!!

For Eastern Roads!
A B&A west-bound " 'tater-train" runs through D&RJRR territory with a typical B&A power mix: F3, BL2, BL2, and regeared E7. How's this for keeping eastern roads in the public eye, Mike? LOL I like your pic! Alcos always looks purdy.
Nice lash-up. Shawn!

Typical Power Mix??
That definitely is an attention-getter for sure, looks like an EMD Catalog train! With all that horsepower it's starting to become "experimental!"
(You know, experiment to see just HOW MUCH it'll REALLY pull!)
Shawn- Now THAT is a GREAT shot! Now I see why you run those babies outside! Those babies would be tripping the smoke detectiors in no time flat!

Thanks guys for the compliments, and I have set the smoke detectors off a few times with these locomotives... I can completely engulf my train room in smoke in about 2 minutes.
I too love that old Alco power and the long lash-ups of multiple engines which is something you can do in G but you will need alot of room...just those two locomotives front knuckle of 2017 to rear knuckle on the canteen of 2023 is just over 9 feet of length so I admire you folks in the smaller scales that have 4-5 locos on the point and a long train behind.
Here's a pic from inside the house....
and a light early morning "fog" starts off the day at Bluestone Yard
Let's see some more pics as I really do enjoy seeing everyone else's work.

Thanks Daryl, those shots are kinda rare cause after a while the smoke does get to ya,
Andy, I do imagine that the smoke coming out of those smokers would really be bad for health esp. at those levels
When my railroad buddy Ken comes over we shut the smokers off even though we both enjoy them, that way when we go out of the train room we dont get an oxygen buzz

Oxygen Buzz!! LOL
I'm glad to see you have foglights on those locos too! Looks like they're needed!
I'm glad to see the traffic on the site, it sure sems to be picking up! I personally like this thread, because it's open to whatever anyone wants to show to the rest of the world!
This week we have N, G, and HO represented! Not too shabby! I thought I would throw another pic on, this is the MOW Yard on the Penn-Haven Central RR seen from the East.
