The late afternoon sun lights up the cab on the switching crew as they finish their work.

Back story: I haven't been in the train room for over a month. I was coming from the laundry room and happened to glance in the train room and saw this. The sunlight very seldom gets into the train room. I ran upstairs and grabbed the camera. I took the shot but by the time I had another one set up, the sun was gone and the room was dark again. So this was very much a lucky shot.

Question question????

That a good looking engine . but my question is how do stay out of your train room for over a month if i don't get to mine in a week I go nuts when I was in the hospital all I did when they weren't sticking needles in me was think of what I was going to do when I go home. I guess I'm a train addict.anyway that still a good looking engine.

Talking Tom, you are obviously in denial...

As a concerned friend, and internet buddy, I would STRONGLY recommend that you get a healthy dose of "Therapy" you can find within the confines of your abode. If you forgot where that is, it's VERY CLOSE to where you took that picture!! Addictions are not to be forgotten!!

Please report back on your recovery progress!!

Summer time is outdoor time. I ride my bike, golf, and am otherwise active outdoors most of the summer. Soon enough I will retreat to the "cave" for the duration of the winter.

Thanks all for the kind words.

One bright moonlit night, as I was on my way to the local model railroad club. I passed by the local freight depot and caught the 2nd trick switcher spotting this boxcar. Fortunately I always have my camera with me.

Cheers, Simon
