on30 bachmann climax

Have just obtained a ON30 Climax with tsunami sound decoder, anybody have similar and what cv values have you changed to optimise sound and performance to you liking. Default settings not to my liking, any help giving new cv values appreciated, regards Ray.

First of all to TWP Ray glad to have you part of the forum. Check this post out maybe it will help, if not someone I'm sure will post some help for you. Let us know how you did.

CV values for decoders!!

readers favourite cv values for bachmann climax loco

Hi.Thanks for you reply. What I am after is what other readers/modelers have altered thier cv values to on thier climax loco's away from the factory setting, which in thier opinion enhances the operation and running of the loco, example the settings they changed to make loco pull off slowly and smoothly. Factory setting on mine is to set to 7/8 on my NCE power cab to get loco to start, thought the 1 setting would be better, or am I missing something as a newbie to dcc and tsunami decodersRay.
