HO help for N Scale!!
I had a friend of mine come over tonight to ask if I could help him install some couplers on a Con-Cor GN E-8 A&B. I pulled out my magnifying glass, cut the Micro-Trains Couplers off the sprues, and tried....and tried.....and TRIED!!!! To install the @&()%#!@!()*^^$#%^&*&%!!!! things!
Now I honestly respect all the time and money my fellow N-Scale brothers have invested in their side of the hobby, but I'm starting to think you guys are Masochists! So, as i was sharing the joys of HO with my friend, I had one of those brilliant sparks of invention!! I thought I would take a couple pics and share!
The advantages are you can SEE the #@@$^&%## thing, and it works better, too! Just don't look at it too hard, and it'll be okay!
Scroll on down....

You know your going to get beat up in the chat room by the N=scale guys over this one........ lol Ok if you really want a piece of pure insanity try this. Measure up an HO coupler and compare it to a real one it is very much out of scale. There are several of these prototype modelers who use n-scale couplers on their HO engines and rolling stock because is closer in scale to the real thing.
