Wow,nice job Dave,I love what you have done with the backdrops, very realistic. It appears the track plan has a nice flow to it lending to lots of operation potential. The hills, clouds and are those mountains in the backdrops?very realistic. The structure set up loooks fantastic.I see you have some houses set up with streets,I like the waty you have created each scene and look forward to more photos of this marvelous looking and well done layout.

Hi Steve, thank you for looking and the kind remarks, although I have been a railway fan since childhood and dabbled into models from time to time this is my first serious attempt at building a real layout, thankfully I am now retired and have the time to enjoy this wonderful hobby.

Hi Trainman, your reply brought a smile to my face, I have a model railroading friend who says the same thing, he blames my Obsessive-compulsive disorder, he may be right, regardless thanks for taking the time to look at the layout.

Nice one, Dave!

Our new friend from "Down Under" has some talent! I like that track plan, and the potential is fantastic for how far you can go with it. Just out of curiousity, if you would, what size is the layout? Hope you have a fan or an air conditioner in that shed, but then again, you're gettting back into Winter, right? Hope to see more as you go along!

Hi there Mike, sorry to answer this late but I have been on a holiday, the layout is 13ft 6ins long and 2ft 10ins wide, thanks for your reply.
