Rivet counters, don't look!
How many of these were actually built? It's a converted Rio Grande 4-8-2 cab forward that's been changed over to run on oil. I guess you don't see many of these around.

WOW! I knew the rivet counters would find it offensive but is it really THAT appalling to the rest? By the way, someone challenged me to come up with a stiesel and after a lot of Photoshop tinkering, this was the result. Shouldn't have wasted my time huh?

I have an idea - - - put some sound in it, chuffs syncronized to the rotating beacon, etc. and start carrying it to train shows. I'll be you can get a least one rivet counter to vapor-lock per show. I see a Dixie-Line box car in the picture. Bring it to Birmingham, Al and you might get a whole club on one day.
Really neat!!
Non-rivet counter,

A fine example of Imagineering and it fits Rule #1 (it's your railroad)...
...but where's that neato Speed Lettering Herald?
