Many years ago, back in 1995 or so, my wife and I lived in Toldedo, OH. The rest of my family lived here in Arizona. Soooo, for Christmas that year, we took Amtrak from Toledo via Chicago to Flagstaff. One of the portions that sticks in my memory was going over Raton pass. It was pretty neat looking back and seeing the rest of the train slowly snaking it's way up the grade behind us. I for one look forward to plenty of pictures of your progress!
