Just got to know.

Does anyone here Oil there rolling stock wheels.
I was setting here today thinking that maybe i need to put some lite oil are maybe some lite grease on my Axles on the rolling stock.

No. Just make sure the axle and journal are clean. If you're haviing a problem with a particular car, maybe just a little TFE (Teflon) powder. Any oil or grease will only collect dirt/dust and make a real mess of things.

I put kdee graphite I tryed that oiling the axles once faitfan is right that will pickup all the dust on your track good trackcleaner but bad for rolling stock.

I've used grafite power only a few times, what does work for me is using that little truck tuning tool they sell in Micromark the NMRA wheel gage and metal wheels. I am so sold on metal wheels it's not funny. I sat here one night til 3:30am switching wheel sets over and I got about 1/3 of my rolling stock finished.

Ditto to what Brian said...

Metal wheelsets are the ONLY way to go for me. If they still hang up, then I use the tool Brian described to clean things up. If they still are sticky, then I'll give the graphite powder a try. If they still are acting wierd, you are the proud owner a "Yard Filler". Otherwise figure on getting a set of replacement trucks! But that doesn't happen much, if at all.
