Lots of work done!

Well we have been hard at work in the basement cleaning and building up tables for the layout. Unfortunately i am waiting for the Camera Cable to come in so I can update you all with pictures.

Tonight we spent a lot of time working on the yard area. All that is left is to lay the foam on the top and we can start building up the yard.

Hopefully will be updating this with pictures in 2 days when the cable gets here.

Couple more...

Another table with tools on it... should house the mountain with the Helix when completed (currently has my Nscale stuff, was playing around):

Thats all for now!

The yard is going to be 54.18 sq feet. Should have about 15 switching tracks, large 10 engine house and large pit turn table.

We have to fill in a large hole with concrete and redo the waterlines next before we can continue with much more work

Thanks for looking

Zach

Man I look beautiful in that picture. We worked on the wall for the yard area. Pictures to follow. we started to put up insulation in the roof... and we are still picking it out of our skin.

As RegCTX my partner in railroad crime said here are more pictures.

First the foam going up on the walls:

Then me cutting foam and a wide shot of the wall:

Long shot to see what we are doing along with me cutting more foam:

And the finished product with the new wall:

Great news is that we saved an extra sheet worth of foam now to use on the layout! Once we paint the wall and the new wood wall white to help brighten it up we will foam the top of the bench and begin work on the yard until we get far enough in the basement to begin building the rest of the tables.

Enjoy!

Zach
