a travelling car
Just a thought, but maybe we could make up a (pick one)boxcar/gondola/hopper/covered hopper with TWHP decals, kind of like another gone and forgotten forum did (shhh dont say the name), and let it travel around to the members layout/dioramas.
I suggest a covered hopper, nothing extravagant, like a cheap one, to offset any damages done to car done by shipping.
But we need someone who has done some custom decal work for this.
What does anyone/everyone think?

Shouldn't the operative here be "cars" since we are a multi-scale group.By the way I am all for it.
By the way I think that TWHP are kewl looking reporting marks.

I do apologise sir, of course there should be a car for all scales that are modeled. I just threw this out to see what everyone thought. And it appears it will be well receieved.
Maybe we should get a little list of who, and what scale/s.
I'll volunteer a covered hopper for HO scale, just need the decals. I've got a Athearn "Old Forrester" that needs to be stripped.

Ok, here what I did, if Kevin approves:
1, took an athearn "old Forrester" covered hopper, and some rubbing alcohol, and took the print off.
2, did a "save as" with the toolbar gif on top, and expanded it a little and printed 2 decals from it that look like this:
now gotta wait 2 days for them to dry from a couple coats of clear coat then will ship it out.
