Need help identifying a building

I want to track down a building I saw on a website that features a ton of layouts. I have tried to contact the person named on the initial website, but to no avail. If anyone can identify this building:

Obviously, it's a european company, but I can't find it on any catalog listings. If anyone has any ideas, please post them for me.

Thanks.

It appears to be made by Kibri, just my guess by looking at the material. I've got about 5 of their bridge kits and a pier kit and the glue to put them together is??? CA wont work.

Hans,
It does look like a european company. Try www.walthers.com -- main page they carry most of the overseas companies and if this kit is still being made they should have it.

Yeah, I have been guessing Kibri or Faller.. tried the Walthers online and Hobbylinc. I am just keeping up the search I guess.

...oh, and it's Han, not Hans... as in Han Solo 506.

(from my SW obsession )

Judging by the size of the front door it looks to be an old Faller kit, as they were quite under scale in the old days.

You can find all Fallers city houses here:
FALLER - Wir bauen die Welt im Modell
There are 82 kits in total, so take a look and see if you can find it.

I checked the Kibri catalog, but the building doesn't appear there. Heres a link to their catalog:

I hope it will be helpful... :-)

Smile Hi hansolo_506, this is the answer for you!!

Hi hansolo_506!
You obviously got a good eye to detect good things. The kit you were asking about is a Vollmer kit. To me, Vollmer is the manufacturer of the most delicate and perfect kits with wonderful details.
Your kit is Article H0 3777 "Schlosshotel". You can find the complete range of Vollmer kits in their website: Vollmer - Architektur in Miniatur
Other brand which is very good, but to me a small step behind in perfection as compared with Vollmer, is Faller, whose website is www.faller.de
I just joined thewhistlepost site cause I came across with your photo while performing image searching with Google.
Anyway, I hope you can find the Vollmer kit, I don't know if it's still in their catalog, but I'm sure that otherwise you could find it with an internet retailer.
Good luck!
I'm Horacio, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, South America.

Smile I forgot to say something...

Hansolo_506, if you are lucky to find the kit but it's a little pricey, just buy it!!, believe me: the Vollmer kits are so good that you'll be happy to pay a little more.
Cheers!
