Bli Ac6000
Finally got my AC6000 SP in today. A very well detailed model, and on DC sounds great. Easy access to DCC socket, just lift off the fan cover. On DCC control, even with a cheap decoder, it runs great! But it has issues with sound then. It has a built in decoder which has to be programmed seperately from the motor controller. But overall it is a very good model.
I'll post pics of it soon.

It is Broadway Limited's new Blueline series. ( link here) The sound is awesome in DC, just getting the dcc to work with it is a lil hassle. I dont wanna have to send the loco in for repair the first day out of the box. I've got a set of PCM F3's that have never given me a problem. But did have a BLI E7 that would never take the correct address in programming.
I bought the unit from Factory Direct for $60 less than MSRP.

Got an email from BLI's tech support this morn with a long list of questions. Am waiting response from them as to what they want to do.
Hopefully they just send a replacement board instead of wanting the engine back.

We've been emailing all morning and have come to no conclusion. Might think it's the sound board. Hopefully they'll just send me a new sound board and have me send them the old one.

Well, BLI suggests I send them the engine or contact my retailer for a replacement. So I called Factory Direct and they are gonna cross ship one to me and just have me drop the defective one to them. Now thats service!!
