G scale track prices are about to double.
Lewis Polk of Aristo-craft posted this announcement the other day.

Also Charles Ro (USA Trains) has said that raw material prices have gotten unrealistic and they are being charged more for track that is made in China. China is not honoring the contract prices agreed to and is charging material costs at the time of order.
The financial situation with LGB has made track hard to find and out of stock at a lot of places.
Whats the moral of the story? If you see track sitting on the shelf of your local hobby shop, you better buy it before the price goes up!!
