UH OH....! So I'm looking at your choo choos and I have to ask a couple questions....



Is all your track sectional?
and

What did you do to get the track attached directly to the wood? DID you attach it to the wood base yet??

If the track isn't glued down and if the nails aren't in that good, you might want to consider pulling it up and running to a local lumber place and getting foam sheets to re-lay the track on...It would be lots quieter, and you could dig those gullies, and watercourses. Even if it isn't that thick, you have the ability to do some land forming.

Just an observation and two cents, for what it's worth...

i'll take anything ya bunch can throw at me,,cmonnnnn,,,LOL..

actually,,its a very temporary layout right at this point,meaning, not glued or nailed cept for lil pic tacks holding track at spots on foam,(doin a vid for youtube), after much consideration,surfing,and bugging the h#$$ out of certain somebody's,LOL, i've decided to $ee $anta early,order all new track,flex and turnouts,all nic-silver.
all this current layout will go in the spare room 10'x8', and will connect with a 'modular' layout in liv room,much bigger than present one,through a hole in kitchen wall over cabinets. yes,,i'm crazy,,and yes it can be done.prob wont start till spring when i finally have all supplies needed and i take 2 weeks off
i'm also takin my sweet ole time as i'm gonna try and model it after the back home(moncton,new brunswick), humpyard,shops and round/turn table they had all back in steam era,was the junction for the maritime provinces back in spiders days,,,,ooops,,did i say that out loud , i'm going back in time,,diesels wont exist,,lots of scenery,lots of action,,,,oh boy, can't wait,,,,any volunteers like eating well and wanna help?,LOL
