Many thanks to all of you for the congratulations! I've picked up something from every active poster on this site, and I've enjoyed the company, and the advice I've been given! My layout, which has languished over the years has had more done to it since I've joined up, than ever before! The time and quality of the work has improved as well!

I had an advantage (to a point) where I had a layout going into the scenery stages when I came here, and most of my rolling stock was weathered to some degree. I'm starting to get to the point where a few of you are, with making stuff and showing it as we go. So don't be discouraged by some crazy guy on the internet who's plastering the site with pics!

Wow, 1000 posts in 8 months! I've got a years head start on you and I'm still not close to 1,000. Then I thought, "well, I've still got more pictures in the gallery." So I go and check the gallery... you've already got me beat there too!

Talking to one's self is not a problem! It's when you answer yourself is when there is!

The pictures on this thread (except for the freight train) were among the first pictures I put on the site. Since I'm such a (ahem) Senior member here I thought I'd recycle them through again!
