Edison, NJ Train Show
I went to a Greenberg Show up north of me today, I took a few pictures I thought I'd share. I actually had a few more, but they came out blurry on me....(If anyone would like to donate a GOOD camera, I know someone who'd take it!! )
The layouts all came out pretty decent, and one vendor shot::
The first pic is of some funny looking ORANGE and BLACK locos..What's up with THAT?? I guess some people actually have stuff like these on their RR's!!
LOL!!
Here's a couple pics of a pretty well done O Scale layout. Here we see three trains in action, a steamer heading towards us, and two others rolling away:
PRR GP-35's and some funny looking blue engine with an attitude!
HO Scale Unit Train The club had a model of the Starrucca Viaduct that had to be over eight feet long. For some reason it didn't upload to the comp, I'll see if I have it...
An overall picture of a huge N Scale layout, the thing had to be fifty feet across by 75 feet in length. I lost track of how many modules they had...
Oh, and what did I get? I picked up an Atlas Kato drive CNJ RS-1, a few Bev-Bel Athearn cars, and a bunch of scenery stuff. All at a deal!

YOU GOT THAT RIGHT! (and a few others too!)
While I was out there, I was thinking, I should've taken orders or something before I went to the show! I was surprised to see nice Milwaukee Road stuff, and the pricing overall wasn't bad (meaning that most prices were well discounted) This Show is in a big hall that hosts a lot of different shows, and they usually have clubs in there like today. Lots of fun, and lots to see.

Here's a few more pics that survived...
CP- Come to think of it, I really don't get to see much stuff from up North, but there WAS a guy there that had all theose funny looking grain hoppers, from the Lifesavers Candy Stripes, to the Brown and Gold Saskatchewan Hoppers, and a bunch of others. The funny thing about this hobby is, that I couldn't find hardly any CNJ or PRR stuff, because it sells like hotcakes here.
The local RR's always sell well, and there's always a ton of the "other roads" around. I'll bet there's a LHS that's dying to dump it's Pennsy stuff out there!
Anyway, here's a few more shots I was able to try to patch up and put on here from the show. My apologies for the quality of the shots, I was starting to lose the battery...The first two are some stuff that Tall Dude would appreciate:
Then a HO club was there with the bridge I mentioned earlier. There's ten passenger cars across this baby!
In case you aren't sure what the bridge is, it's a model of the Starrucca Viaduct in Northeast PA. The Erie built it, and it's still in use. It's waaaay out in the middle of nowhere, but it's definiitely on my gotta see list!

I was at the same show on Saturday with my dad-- first show we've attended together this century.
And I drove right by the real viaduct in Nicholson, PA, on the way home. Well worth the detour off I-81, especially since I-81 is under construction in the area with some potentially long delays!

Hey Tom, I seem to be having a problem with the click and drag into my hands. Could you just mail me the thing??
Hey UMTRR! Too bad I didn't know what you looked like, we could've visited, seeing you're out in this part of the country! Maybe on the next go round, eh?? Ever go to Timonium??

It was a very quick stop at the show as part of coming down with the family to visit my parents.
I think I've been to Timonium once. I don't travel for work nearly as much as I used to, so it's harder to sneak in side trips.
