A Very Good Question, Dom!!

I was trying to come up with the reasons why there weren't many votes on a GREAT month of pictures, and I too, am not really sure why so few decided to participate. Anyone on the site can vote, it's out there so everyone can be a part of our community! So, the only reasons I could think of why folks wouldn't vote were:
!. They're waiting to see if anyone will buy their vote.
2. They were looking for campaign promises. (and disappointments)
3. The topic wasn't interesting enough.
4. The wife/GF has them out mowing the yard, trimming shrubs, etc.
5. They're out getting the pool ready for Summer.
6. A massive virus hit 40 million computers.
7. They thought that since they didn't register a pic, they couldn't vote.
8. They all went to an NMRA Convention.
9. They all went to Bermuda??
10. They were under the impression from last month that if they did vote, then we would all have a big party at TD's house. (BTW- it's being held next week, but don't let TD know I said anything!!)

I always vote. I mean if you guys take the time to post a pic the least i can do is look them over and pic out one. I know we have a lot of members that have never made a post here. You have this with all forums ppl sign up and never come back ??????i dont get it either but it happens. All we can do is the ones of us that do post here everyday are two times a week keep it up and lets just hope for more ppl just like ya. We are still in the building stage some day I am sure with members like what we have now we are going to be a big star someday.

What should be said here is the very nature of railroading and the internet is information and if you have 300 member probably only 50 come on a regular basis the rest are looking for information and move on. Often when I read a good article I join just for the sake of adding a number to the owners list this is to the benefit of the forum and in time when 10,000 members are recorded others will see a secure and well laid out forum.

My home life right now is so chaotic I cannot even work on a layout I built in the living room let alone dig through all new posts. Its hard and thats life. Patience will pay off, summers coming harder times are coming trust me.In the fall things pick back up blah blah blah

you understand what i am saying I am sure.

My son is using me as a jungle gym as i type lol i gtg.
