My Trip To Iowa City,Iowa
Today I went to Iowa City for tests on my back, hopefully it will get my social security.X rays revealed that I have a bone in my lower back that isn't fully grown,it's been that way since my teens or earlier. Also I have arthritis in my back, that is causing the pain along with the bone that isn't fully grown.I don't know if that will be enough to obtain my disability, but I am hopeful it will be.It is hard to sit or stand for more than 20-30 minutes at any one time, and I can't do any heavy lifting or stooping or streaching. While there in Iowa City we saw 2 Iowa Interstate trains that had 6 engines on one train and 2 on the other.First train was about 60 cars long and the second 70 cars longs. Both trains were going west. The wife and I are hoping I get approved for my disability this time.We are keeping our fingers crossed.

Steve, good luck with Social Security. I've been out of work since May 06 with a ruptured disc, and had a fusion, now going for a second fusion, and still fighting with SS.
People who claim to have mental poblems can get SS but folks who have physical proof, have to fight for it.
But, I hope for the best for you.
