Talking Walthers 2007 Catalog... 9.98!!!!

I got the June Walthers sales flyer today.. Besides the normal selection of Proto 2000 diesels from 165.00 to 250.00.. I came across a full page that said the following...

In honor of Walther's 75th anniversary, the 2007 Reference guides will be 9.98!!!

I never complained about the 22.95 normal price because I've always thought it was a great reference to see what was out there all in one place.. Even if I didn't order anything from Walthers. But 9.95 is a heck of deal!!

I'm glad to see something actually go down in price for a change.

I heard grumblings around the first of the year that next years catalog was going to be cheaper. With $20+ for a catalog and web site = free I always went on the web site. everything in the catalog is on the web site plus the pictures are bigger and you can see if the item you want is in stock right now, so they really didn't have a choice but to lower the price or stop the catalog altogether!

Cool

Actually $22.00 plus would be a good deal except they don't show anywheres near what is available in any scale in any of their catalogs.(no I don't expect them to list the Horizon products )

At $10.00 a pop though I will buy both the N and HO books.

just a reminder for those of you wanting the 2007 Walthers catalog. July 15th is the last day to be able to reserve one for 9.98 (instead of the usual 20 bucks or so). Go to www. walthers.com to reserve one.
