Live Chat Added to the forums!!

A couple of people have requested a live chat feature to be added to the forums, so we're going to give it a try.

If you look at the menu at towards the top of this page, you will notice a Chat link has been added between the Calendar Link and the New Post link (the links, not the buttons at the very top). Please make sure you have the Flash Player installed and log in using your usual username and password! Give it a try!

I saw you entered the chat but didn't say anything. Just wonder if the chat is working ok for you or not?

Kevin, I tried to join, but I got a screen that asked for my user name and password. I entered my info but I got an error message that my name or password wasn't right. I've done this several times in the last few weeks to see what's happening, but I can't get in and don't know why.

Hmmm thats odd, because it does show you logged into the chat. The password IS case sensitive so make sure you enter it exactly how you have it in the forums. Also make sure you have the Flash Player installed on your computer.

Now this is about goofy. I entered twice without any problem whatsoever. Didn't do anything different I hadn't done before except before, it wouldn't let me in and kept giving me that error message.

Does take a while for things to load up though, don't it?

yeah, it can take a while, especially if you are on a dialup connection.
