When we last saw the car, Andy said it was getting hooked up with a PRR train and headed East. I mentioned a set of power had been dispatched, and on Friday, got the word they were headed back! As we watch down the tracks, we see the EMD power coming around the bend in the distance:
The SD-9's pull into Michell Yard, and we start to inspect the train:
WE see the train is a Unit Run, and a couple of those L&N grab your eyeballs Blue Hoppers are in the consist:
Then we come to something rather unusual, as it's the first fictional foreign road car ever seen on the PHCRR! But Management has a plan....
The TWP car is immediately pulled off the train, and the Car Shop guys are waiting for the 44-Tonner to bring 'er in:
In the meantime, seems a Big Welcome is brewing, as it looks like Virgil's Air Service, Banner Towing Division has gotten into the act!
The local Classic Car Club has made an appearance:
And we have a Law Enforcement presence to keep the excitement to a manageable level:
Well, most of players are in place, in our next installment, we will get to see what happened to the TWP car, and see what kind of welcome the Penn-Haven Central cooked up! So far, we can see the excitement building!
