How tall are trees??
TN, as far as I've seen, trees come in all lengths and varieties. Most are in the three to four story range, so figure thirty to forty feet high. Use a forty foot RR car as a reference, and mix and match, no one will question it. Even if you made them higher, say it's a grove of that particular kind of tree! Hey, now you can be a horticulturalist!! 
Look at any pics of wooded areas, and there's always a variety of species, and heights and colors.
