Well I'm doing it again.This time I thought I would make it all inclusive of any and all freightcars of the narrow type.My first contribution is a kitbashed On30 flat car made from of all things a flatcar.
The particulars are one used bought cheap many years ago HO TYCO flatcar.I used Evergreen square tubing to widen the HO deck to O scale 7'.I kept the TYCO trucks after clipping off the talgo couplers and massauging the axles . The couplers are KaDee #5s bodymounted and the stirrups are hand formed brass wire.I don't remember whose lumber I used for the deck,but it most likely was Kappler.
I would guestimate that I have less than $7.50 in cash invested in this little beauty.
